CEMETERIES
The Dalton Historical Society has indexed many of the names on the stones in our cemeteries, and will someday have them in a database for quick reference. Digital photographs have also been taken of all gravestones in Ladd and Johns River Cemeteries, and the old section of Cushman Cemetery. Both the Cushman and Johns River Cemeteries are located on Route 135, the main road through town. Ladd Cemetery is located on Faraway Road. St. Matthews Cemetery straddles the Dalton/Whitefield town line, and is maintained by the Catholic church in Whitefield. |
